A single yellow Maple leaf. There are hundreds, if not thousands of them outside my window.
The colors of fall are beginning to fade and soon enough the air will chill and the snow will fall.
A dry leaf sits on a park bench in Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin. The colors are just about past peak now around here,
Now that October is upon us, the leaves have started changing colors.
Another reoccurring subject in my 365 Project is feathers. This tiny down feather is the latest image in that theme.
I wanted to capture something “summer-y” and minimalist to commemorate the impending end of summer and the slow downhill slide to the dead of winter.
By my count, this is self-portrait 34 in this project. When I need to shoot something interesting everyday and I can’t find a suitable subject, it makes sense to shoot myself.
