Passions Collide – Abstract 5

This abstract photography based digital artwork, combines two of my artistic passions - 3D animation and photography. The base color scheme is from a photograph of an old worn out table that had several coats of mismatched paint on it in addition to several glued-on pieces of newsprint and other paper. The color information from that image was used to drive the size, color, and 3D spatial location of each rectangular object. The resulting 3D rendered image was then finished in Photoshop with many color tweaks, contrast adjustments and some other "magical" things. The image is best viewed on a large desktop monitor and is intended to be printed very large. Copyright 2017 Scott Norris Photography scottnorrisphotography.com

With Open Eyes

With Open Eyes

“All men dream, but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds, wake in the day to find that it was vanity: but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act on their dreams with open eyes, to make them possible.” –T. E. Lawrence Another…… Continue reading With Open Eyes
