Abstract Tones

I call this image Abstract Tones.  Can you guess what it is?  I’ll admit to using Topaz Glow and Topaz Impression in the creation of this image, but both of those plugins were used at the end of the process in the final touches.  The spiral/ concentric circles you see here is straight of the camera. The highlights were enhanced with an added glow.  The color is quite a bit warmer than you would normally expect this object to be, but that is entirely due to natural processes (age perhaps??) and the color of the available light that shone through the many holes.  So what is it?  Anyone?

P.S.  One more clue, the title has a pretty bid hint.

Day 101 of 365.

Emotion. Mood. Feelings. This is what I capture through my photographs. Whether it is landscapes, architectural elements, still life, or macros - it is a very personal journey as my own fears, triumphs, beliefs, and shortcomings are exposed with each photo. In the end, it is all about telling compelling stories.
