We stayed overnight at a friends place in Glenview, Illinois. This little pond is directly across the street from their house. In the morning, the pond was as smooth as glass and the light was just perfect. I was struck by the symmetry in the reflection and the fall colors in the leaves.
I’m reading a book on the Impressionist Landscape painters and the various techniques they used and thought I’d have a go at creating that type of look for this shot in post-processing. This was a fun exercise!!
