Superman and the Big Hill

Superman and the Big Hill

To get to the best picnic spot in the park, little superman decided to walk up the big hill instead of fly.   Of course, he also decided to roll down.

Of all the shots I took over the Labor Day weekend, this is one of my favorites.  My son, in his superman sweatshirt with a red cape, marching up the hill to get to the top.   The way the picnic table, my son, the sky, and the crest of the hill lined up, it was perfect.  As he proceeded up, I was snapping shots as fast as I could.   Because I was not going to miss this shot!

Day 340 of my 365 photo a day project.

Emotion. Mood. Feelings. This is what I capture through my photographs. Whether it is landscapes, architectural elements, still life, or macros - it is a very personal journey as my own fears, triumphs, beliefs, and shortcomings are exposed with each photo. In the end, it is all about telling compelling stories.
