Bubble Wrap Abstract

Ah, bubble wrap.  I’ve got a ton of it sitting around the office, in the basement, and the garage.  It’s great for packaging prints and such, and certainly hours of popping fun for my son (and me).  My goal today was simple – to capture an abstract yet somewhat recognizable photograph of the plastic stuff.  And also to show all of the interesting details in the texture and reflections.   Other than that,  as always, I just wanted to have fun creating.

Since this image has quite a bit of small details, it is best viewed as big as possible.  To do that, just click on the photo to see it full screen. Of course, you could always purchase a large print too.

Day 319 of my 365 photo a day project.

Emotion. Mood. Feelings. This is what I capture through my photographs. Whether it is landscapes, architectural elements, still life, or macros - it is a very personal journey as my own fears, triumphs, beliefs, and shortcomings are exposed with each photo. In the end, it is all about telling compelling stories.
