Many of you may remember the exterior of the Milwaukee City Hall building from the intro to the TV show “Laverne and Shirley”.   What many don’t know, and I suspect that includes folks living in the city, is the interior has a very beautiful mutli-balcony atrium.  With this shot, I wanted to do something a bit different and, well, strange.  I created a 5 frame vertical panorama from the floor to ceiling and then flipped and mirrored the image to create a surreal, Escher-esque photograph.  Sometimes it’s fun to do some outlandish things with processing.

Day 270 of my 365 photo a day project.

Emotion. Mood. Feelings. This is what I capture through my photographs. Whether it is landscapes, architectural elements, still life, or macros - it is a very personal journey as my own fears, triumphs, beliefs, and shortcomings are exposed with each photo. In the end, it is all about telling compelling stories.
