Raindrops on Green

Raindrops on Green

A line of tiny raindrops sit atop a green leaf against a backdrop of vibrant, verdant green after an early May rain shower. What a way to start the month.  Now it is Wisconsin – so it wasn’t warm by any means when I shot this macro image.  If fact, with the humidity, it was the kind of cold that just goes through you and into your bones.  No matter though, because it’s Spring and May 1st!  The warm temperatures and outdoor fun is almost here. (fingers crossed that they arrive before July)

In the coming months, I hope to have many more shots like this one and leave the indoor minimalist shots where they belong – indooors – for a while.

Day 214 of my 365 photo a day project.

Emotion. Mood. Feelings. This is what I capture through my photographs. Whether it is landscapes, architectural elements, still life, or macros - it is a very personal journey as my own fears, triumphs, beliefs, and shortcomings are exposed with each photo. In the end, it is all about telling compelling stories.
