Honeywell Tilt-A-Mite Flash Gun

The Honeywell Tilt-A-Mite articulated vintage flash gun, circa late 1950s.   Another one of the many vintage camera accessories I have occupying a shelf in my office. Ok, and a box on the floor.  And a crate in basement.  Oh, and there are those other boxes.

I love this particular unit because it looks like something out of an old science fiction movie – perhaps a radio dish or laser weapon.   Another cool feature of the flash gun is the leaves in the silver reflector can fold up like a fan, making it easy to store.

Day 212 of my 365 photo a day project.

Emotion. Mood. Feelings. This is what I capture through my photographs. Whether it is landscapes, architectural elements, still life, or macros - it is a very personal journey as my own fears, triumphs, beliefs, and shortcomings are exposed with each photo. In the end, it is all about telling compelling stories.
