This is just me tinkering around at the very end of the day. (I did shoot this on the 8th. Honest!) Talk about taking it down to the wire. With little motivation to really spend the time to find “the cool shot”, I just grabbed some of my son’s classic wooden Jumbo Tinker Toys and plopped them on the copy stand. Yet it turned out to be a good exercise in composition and design. There are lots and lots of ways you can place these toys in the frame. It’s fun to see what works and what doesn’t. Anyway, I got the shot of the day in the bag and although it is a simple framing and was easy to shoot and process, I kind of dig it.
