My goal was to capture something outdoors and different than what I have done the last few days. Cue Monty Python, “And now for something completely different!” In framing this photograph, I wanted just the sky, the wires, and the shoes and A LOT of negative space. Since it was overcast and the Chuck Taylors were black, I went with a high-contrast black and white.
