I found this vintage Farmall tractor while on a family trip to the Cedarburg Creek Farm pumpkin patch in Cedarburg, Wisconsin.
I just love finding old posters in dirty, cobweb covered windows.
“The vision must be followed by the venture. It is not enough to stare up the steps – we must step up the stairs.”
“You will not be carried to Heaven lying at ease upon a feather bed.”
A quiet moment with my son, albeit brief, at the Milwaukee Public Library East Branch. I’m amazed he sat still even this long. He is a bundle of energy and never really stops moving!
“Artists are just children who refuse to put down their crayons.”
“The falling leaves drift by my window
The falling leaves of red and gold
I see your lips, the summer kisses
The sunburned hands I used to hold
“Day is done, gone the sun,
From the lake, from the hills, from the sky;
All is well, safely rest, God is nigh.”
In early 2013, my wife and I moved from Chicago to Milwaukee. In doing so, we moved away from an underwater condo, lots of friends, and 2 steady well-paying jobs not really knowing what was going to happen.
